What is Feedback?

Feedback consists of verified comments from users on Spheriq. It helps to document experiences with organizations in a structured way. This feedback is factored into an organization’s Hope rating. A large number of positive reviews can increase the Hope rating, while a large number of negative reviews can lower it.

Unlike recommendations, feedback is not publicly visible. It is processed anonymously and is not displayed on the organization’s profile.

Who can give Feedback?

Feedback can only be submitted by verified users. Therefore, you must verify your identity before submitting feedback.

How do you give Feedback?

Here’s how it works:

  1. Search for the profile of the organization you’d like to provide feedback on.

  2. Click “Feedback.”

  3. First, select whether you’d like to provide positive, neutral, or negative feedback.

  4. The appropriate form will then open.

Depending on whether you’re providing feedback on a funding organization or a nonprofit, a different form will appear.

In the form, you can provide feedback on various aspects using multiple-choice fields, such as communication, the application process, or long-term experiences. There is also a free-text field for comments at the end.

Important: No single field is mandatory. However, at least one field must be filled out in order to submit your feedback.

Where is Feedback displayed?

Feedback is not publicly visible.

The feedback is stored anonymously and is incorporated into the Hope rating without any personal identifiers.

Privacy, Fairness, and Review

  • Only verified users can submit feedback

  • Feedback is stored anonymously

  • Feedback is reviewed by the Spheriq team

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Is feedback the same as a recommendation?

No. While both factors are taken into account in the Hope rating, feedback is processed anonymously and is not displayed on the organization’s profile. Recommendations, on the other hand, are publicly visible and may be linked to the person who made the recommendation.

Do I need to be verified to leave feedback?

Yes. Feedback can only be provided by verified users. Authentication is required for this.

Do I have to fill out all the fields on the form?

No. None of the fields are required. However, you must fill out at least one field in order to submit your feedback.

Why is feedback important for Hope?

Hope is designed to help assess how realistic a successful partnership is. Thematic fit alone is not always sufficient for this. Feedback adds to the picture by providing concrete insights from real-world experience.
