Badges on Spheriq

This article explains what badges are and what requirements must be met to earn one. Badges are digital insignias on Spheriq. They indicate how comprehensive, active, and transparent an organization is on the platform.

Written by Yara Ouertani

Badges allow users to quickly see how active and trustworthy a profile is. At the same time, they help you showcase your activities and build trust with partners, sponsors, and donors.

In a nutshell

Badges are digital badges on Spheriq that highlight transparency, activity, and verified information.

Many badges can be earned simply by completing your profile and actively using the platform.
Certain badges are also reviewed and awarded by Spheriq.

This is how badges are structured

Badges are currently available only for organizations (not yet for projects or individuals).

Badges build on each other in stages. This means that higher-level badges generally require that the previous levels of a badge of the same type have already been earned.

There are three types of badges:

1. General Confirmations

Show how complete an organization's profile is.

  • Claimed

  • Enriched

  • Completed

  • Confirmed

  • Approved

2. Status Confirmations

Confirm an official status.

  • Tax Exempt

  • Funding Logic

3. Awards

Demonstrate commitment, transparency, and active engagement on the platform.

  • Engaged

  • Transparent

  • Networker

  • Champion
