May 2026 – Spheriq AI

  • Spheriq AI – AI assistant directly integrated into the platform. Foundation search, funding research, summaries, and fit analysis via chat – integrated into everyday workflows. → Learn more

  • Prompt Launchers – AI actions directly within the workflow context. Preconfigured buttons located in various places within the application.

  • Documents in the AI Assistant – Documents stored in profiles, applications, and networks are now accessible within the AI assistant. Documents can also be uploaded and analysed directly in the chat.

  • Contact Management – With the new contact management, Spheriq becomes a powerful CRM for funding relationships. In addition to funding commitments, you can now centrally document contact persons, conversation notes, and your own assessments. → Learn more

  • AI Eligibility Check – The automatic pre-evaluation of incoming applications has been expanded: “Fit” and “Hope” values as well as the foundation’s individual funding logic are now directly integrated into the recommendation. Starting with Partner Plus, custom AI prompts can also be stored.

  • Fit & Hope in Lists – Fit values are automatically pre-calculated in list views and always available. Automatically calculated values (black) and manually assigned values (yellow) are clearly distinguishable.

  • Add Missing Organisations – Organisations not yet included in the directory can now be added directly within Spheriq and, after review by our team, included in the public directory.

  • Application Form – Profile-Based Approach – Foundations can now build application forms directly based on profile data (person, organisation, project). Application data and profiles are synchronised – reducing duplicate entries and improving data consistency.

  • New Organisation Profile – Organisation profiles now appear in a clearer new layout with separated information and action areas for more efficient research and funding processes.

  • Funding logic recorded for over 100 funders—The Funding Logic Badge indicates which funding organizations have already submitted a detailed, AI-readable funding logic. As of May 2026: More than 100 funders have already submitted their individual funding logic. → Learn more

February 2026 – Spheriq Rise

  • Reporting & Monitoring for Projects – Manage milestones, to-dos, reports, and agreements (including electronic signatures) directly within grant management.

  • Custom Email Notifications – Take control of your inbox by setting individual notification preferences for each network and organization.

October 2025 – Apple Avalanche

  • Fit & Hope – AI-powered compatibility analysis between funders and nonprofits. Available for all Pro users.

  • Recommendations & Feedback – Verified users can recommend organizations or leave anonymous feedback.

  • AI Summary of Evaluations – Grant-making foundations automatically receive summaries of incoming evaluations (Partner Plus and above, Beta).

  • Video Uploads – Grant applications can now include videos (Partner Plus and above).

  • Partner Box in Networks – Moderation partners are now prominently featured in the network sidebar.

  • List Sharing via Link – Share your research lists easily via a direct link.

  • Project Search is Back – Specifically search for projects, either separately or combined with the organization search.

June 2025 – Solar Storm

  • New Dashboard – A clearer starting point: badges, network activities, and personalized recommendations at a glance.

  • Automated Donation ReceiptsSpendenSchweiz now sends receipts automatically; international and major donations are handled via VERIFF integration.

  • Board Management – Schedule meetings, store documents, and use the AI assistant for foundation boards directly on Spheriq.

  • Custom PDF Export – Select exactly which content should be included when exporting grant requests.

April 2025 – Floral Wave

  • Lists: Table View – View all entries in a clear table format with column selection, multi-sorting, and filters.

  • Lists: Custom Fields – Add individual evaluation criteria using free text, star ratings, checkboxes, and more.

  • Benchmarking – Track seven key metrics and compare them with the sector average.

  • Free Tier Update – Invite up to 3 team members without needing an upgrade.
